Well, we're in negotiations on yet another house, this time in Hoover. It sounds like we're making headway on the offer and might have a number settled by the end of today.
Big thanks to everyone who's given us support and good cheer through this bizarre, often-stressful house hunt. I'll let you know how it goes.

Aha, Bob Jones High School again solves a mystery. It's griner (at) gmail (dot) com. If you're the Scott I assume you are, I'm pretty excited about having a whole Scholar's Bowl team assembled on this site pretty soon. We've got Bill, Toe Head, Angela, Dale, now Scott...maybe there's some kind of Blogger tournament of champions.
