Thanks to my long-awaited account with Google Analytics, I can now see site stats on my blogs. In case you're curious, here's what the World of Asterian Readership looks like:
Not much of an international contingent. Just that one lonely visit from South Korea. Sigh. (And Calgary, of course...much love, friendly neighbor to the north.) Maybe if I mention the World Cup...

Hi David,
I am sorry to say that it is likely that I have skewed your Google stats. I found your blog a few weeks ago and have been reading it intermittedly, but I have been too lazy to bookmark it, so I just google it everytime! Therefore, you probably don't have a huge following of 50-some-odd people in Madison, AL *bummer*, but on the upside I thoroughly enjoy reading your blog! Your writing style reminds me alot of Tony Horwitz. I read Blue Latitudes a few years back and I am sure that IF ONLY you could get someone to sponsor a trip for you to sail around the world, you could pen an equally as entertaining book!
I think I will just sign-up for your email. Keep up the good work!

So I'm not a celebrity in my own home town? Damn. Feel free to contact me at griner (at) gmail (dot) com. Ooh snap, I just suckered classmates.com out of $25 or so.
Glad to hear you found the Cafe, Angela. Maybe we can get together for coffee sometime. You can tell me what it's actually like to live like an adult in your late 20s. ;)
This still doesn't solve the Plano mystery, anyway.
